Work Experience

Receiving a brief from Youtube Anime Competition on YouTube entering me in an online Anime Competition:

Finding my Top 10:

Putting it in order (1 being the best and 10 being the worst)

After doing all of that, I then downloaded all the clips that I would need to do this Video.

I then imported them into Windows Live Movie Maker which took a while, as some of footage is HD.
After that I then started cutting down the image to roughly 20 seconds, as I need each clip to be shorter, so the overall video isn't too long and to also avoid it being boring.
I then added the title of the video and changeedd the font, and animation.

I then added music to title, so it wasn't quite and boring.
After playing back my whole video I realised that the clips were just too long, and if I kept it at that length the video would drag on and people would start to lose interest, so I then cut down down the Clips a little bit more, just to shorten it a little.
After that, I then made each clip fade out and fade in, one after another, so the music would flow straight from one to the next.
After I finished my whole video and I added the credits, I then played back my whole video and double checked that it was okay for saving and uploading to youtube.

My Complete Video

Overall this whole project took me 37 Hours.

Conversing with Client: 3 Hours
Planning on what video to make: 2 Hour
Creating my Top 10 and Ordering it: 4 Hours
Sourcing and Downloading all of the clips: 8 Hours
Importing all footage into Windows Live Movie Maker: 1 Hour and 30 Minutes
Cutting down the Clips: 6 Hours
Adding the Title and Adding Animation and changing Font: 30 Minutes
Adding Music and Shortening the Clips even more and adding fade in and fade out: 1 Hour
Playback and checking everything is good enough: 30 Minutes
Saving the Video: 4 Hours 30 Minutes - Because of the HD and the slowness of my Laptop, it took longer, than I would have thought.
Uploading and added tags/title to YouTube: 6 Hours - Reason for length is pretty much the same as above, but because of having slow internet.

If this whole project didn't take my full 36 Hours, I would have asked the Client, if there was anything else that I could do for them, even it means creating another Video for a Competition.
